Forsaken (II)

Feeling lonely and unfulfilled eventually will lead you to anger and sadness. If you do not defeat this impulse, if you do not dismiss the devil’s whispers and stop his hacking, you will never feel contented with what you have; you will always lose appreciation of life’s valuables and Allah’s endowments.
When we are thankful, we are unmistakably being able to perceive clearly and without delusions. Hence, we are capable of professing our true self; ergo we release this awareness and communicate it to others.
{How can ye reject the faith in God? - seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return.} The Noble Quran 2:28
The baggage you carry may be dimmed and can even be put out completely like a candle; otherwise it will be fed by adverse thoughts and morbid ideas that will ignite it further and will only serve as overwhelming loads that will make the burden even heavier.
Everything you encounter will be viewed through that window. You will not be able to discern it any differently no matter how good a fortune is coming your way.
I will give an example; people with stable families, teenagers with good parents, people blessed with children, money, and knowledge, etc…will not be able to see what they have, they will not be able to celebrate their infinite blessings that furnish their lives because they are distracted by the deficiencies they believe saturate their reality and the imperfections that outline their world. Instead, they are fully focused on the painful experiences and anxieties from their past.
Here is where faith plays an important role- it relieves you of the pain you are feeling because it steers your body into focusing on more positive things. The reward Allah (SWT) has promised for the patient ones, the peace you acquire when you learn to let it go, becomes so addictive that you would not want to go back to the dark place you were once in ever again.
Much of what I have gathered of patience, I would attribute to training the soul and conducting one’s self.
Learn to direct your senses into focusing on the valuable things you possess, through strong concentration, meditation (reflections and invocations), supplications, and truly giving your soul the nurturing it needs.
All will consequently lead to disposal of your negative “Karma” or ghosts of the devil and his followers.

{He sent down serenity into the hearts of the believers, thereby increasing their faith with more faith-the legions of the heavens and Earth belong to Allah. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.} The Noble Quran  48:4
Allah (SWT) has made a strong connection between patience and prayer. If you do not fully grasp the meaning of salat, you will get anxious and restless as you perform it. In this case, the benefit of salat is not achieved and probably all what you have done, when you have prayed, was meaningless.
There are many verses that talk about the importance of prayer in the Quran;

{And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit,}
The Noble Quran 2:45
Scientific studies show stability of the brain during prayers, and the Quran reveals the importance of prayer in the life of the faithful, as well as the importance of glorification and devotion during the performance of Salat. Meaning, you should pray with full awareness and clarity. Islam focuses on the danger of ceasing to do the prayers and one should never underestimate the risks undertaken when it is performed without devotion and humility.
It is absolutely imperative to fully understand the consequence of not giving the proper dignity to prayer, not only will you be not abiding by Allah’s law, but also you will not be profiting from the benefits of prayer that are vital for your well-being.

{TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: those who humble themselves in their prayer,} The Noble Quran 23:1,2

{BE EVER guardians of prayers, and of praying the midmost prayer (in the most excellent way); and stand before God in devout obedience.}
The Noble Quran 2:238

People have long mistaken the need for faith in their lives with the need of a doctrine in which worship of one God is dictated in a specific manner.
Some people think it does not matter how you worship the Almighty, as long as you are being faithful; loyal to Him, true to only one creator. This is not at all accurate. Now the shell, in which the various practices are defined, may vary, but the fundamentals are quite similar. I believe that if you dedicate your energy to the One Creator, if you are truly genuine with yourself, you will find the essence of worship. You will know that it does matter. It matters how you worship Allah.
I have sought, and I have dedicated my energy to the One and only Creator; Allah, and I have ascertained that true religion is undeniably, Islam.
And indeed, wanting to be devoted to the One and only Creator prompts duties and accompanies responsibilities. I have to be resolute and sincere to my attestation; I cannot stop at this, I have to pursue the knowledge and live in accordance with the tenets.
I have to follow the creed.
Worship that will lead us to alleviating ourselves…
